Reflection:
This assignment was assigned to show our understanding of PowerPoint. Each student was asked to edit a PowerPoint template into a grade level appropriate game. The game I chose to do was Goin' Fishin' and decided to use adjectives in my game. This game allowed for each student to focus on their own grade level and the importance of material in the game. The technology portion of this assignment showed our understanding in editing PowerPoints.
During this assignment I ran into the problem of extra text boxes being assigned to certain spots. This then made it difficult to edit the text. I did not notice the extra text box until clicking on the box and noticing that I could not edit the text box that already had writing in it, instead it was writing over top of given writing. With that being said the assignment did give a great understanding of PowerPoint and some problems that could go wrong. I myself have always been a fan of PowerPoint and plan to use it in my future classroom.

Excel
Reflection:
This assignment was laid out in the textbook step by step. Excel has never been one of my strong suits but this assignment helped me to understand more. Excel is able to format equations inside of the program without having to leave to do calculations, graphs are made from the data, and other edits can be used in the program.
As stated before I am not 100% advanced in Excel but I do believe that this assignment helped me to gain more information. The assignment led me to understand different calculations that can be done within the program, and how to achieve those calculations. Also, I learned that gathering information into data sets in Excel can be important when wanting to make different graphs from the information.
